I grew up in western Canada and started working with young people at an early age.  I started lifeguarding and teaching swimming at this pool when I was 16 and continued to do so until I began teaching full-time when I was 22..

The best part of teaching is working with young people each and every day and watching them laugh, learn, and grow.  After helping all of you during the day, I head home to help my two children with their homework!

Time spent in class is limited so I always try to make the most of every minute and create a professional working environment in the classroom.  LIfe goes by way too quickly....make the most of every minute!

Besides teaching for over 18 years at the college and high school level, I have worked in the hi-tech and steel industry for over eight years on electronic and communication systems.  I know what employers are looking for in industry and I will try to help you develop into a 21st century learner.

Learning new things is a passion of mine.  From new technology to old cars to antique arcade games.  I hope I can pass on my joy of learning to you!
